Fanny Howe has published three books of fiction- Forty Whacks, First Marriage and Bronte Wilde, and two books of poetry, Eggs and The American Coastline Poem. She has been a Fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Women and the MacDowell Colony and has won a National Endowment for the Arts Award. She lives in Boston with her three children, Ann Lucien, Danzy and Maceo.
