Deborah McKay is a single parent who lives, writes, and teaches English at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. She and her teenage daughter have just returned from living in Romania, where they worked at orphanages and adopted a two-year-old boy. McKay's writing spans many different disciplines and genres. She has published articles and short fiction in literary, religious, and philosophical journals. Eve's Longing is her first published novel.
